Forcing health insurance on an unwilling student must be illegal, right?
I was disconcerted to see not only the "opt-out" nature of student health insurance, but a questionnaire essentially designed to allow the school to determine if my policy was good enough, per their requirements. This seems an invasion of privacy, and irrelevant to the school's education mission. I don't want them to be my health insurance broker, and they are not responsible for my medical well-being. Are there no laws to protect me in this matter?
