Health Care in Texas, Over 65, dont qualify for Medicare

HEALTH INSUR IN TX FOR 66yo, Spouse 64yo - US Res for 7+ yrs

Resident, worked in US for 7yrs. - retrenched, unemployed 3 yrs. - After Cobra, lost Health Ins - Medicare said I don't qualify as I only have some 29 points (7yrs) & must work another 3 years to get 40 points to qualify - New job Aug 1st - Company too small for HI scheme but will reimburse part costs.
Aetna, United, B Cros TX, AARP, Dept of Insurance TX, TX Health & Human Services etc., etc. - not interested over 65...
We need full health insurance cover - Can you please advise / assist?
