Do you or your spouse have access to a Small Business policy through an employer? If so, and depending on your son’s age, this could be a possible solution for getting him adequate coverage in Michigan. However, it sounds like his primary residency is in Alabama, so you don’t want to affect the level of care he is receiving there.
