More often, healthcare insurance and health insurance are confused as one but the reality is they are two totally different things. However, closer analysis reveals that the two may be different but are actually intertwined. The cost of health insurance is caused by healthcare costs. Understandably, if healthcare is epensive, health insurance is epensive too. If only healthcare would cost less, then it would follow that health insurance would also be a lot cheaper. Remember that health insurance pays for health care epenses. Others see insurance as a cost-shifting device and sometimes it is alright to look for means to reduce the burden of paying the premiums. But some people believe that shifting healthcare costs through somebody else’s health insurance policy can actually affect the epenses. The truth is it does not. In a nutshell, healthcare costs actually dictate the cost of health insurance. It is important to understand the difference as well as the connection of healthcare insurance and health insurance because it will help you choose for ways and means to reduce an insurance cost which is a problem many people face. - June 16, 2009 @ 1:50 pm
