Short term insurance is generally expensive and has limited coverage. This type of insurance usually doesn't cover immunization shots. The 9-month immunization shots are usually given to one year old babies onward. The physician may likely legally deny this medical procedure to babies under this age. Your best option may still be to wait until you have the health insurance coverage the company provides. Until then you may get short term insurance for other needs such as infant care and emergencies. You may also consider shopping around in your area for a good clinic that provides pediatric care for a reasonable price.
