Price on an insurance that will help me pay For Medications?

I am a full-time student at my community college and I am only working part-time so I can't be on my company health insurance plan. I am taking medications for my skin problem and need help paying for the medication. Can you give me a price on an insurance that will help me?

You have several options available to you for obtaining health insurance coverage, but you may not be able to find a company that will pay for your current medications. Have you checked with your college to see if they offer a student health insurance plan? This type of coverage, if available to you, might be an inepensive option and it is possible that they might even be able to offer discounts on your medication if you fill your prescription at certain pharmacies. If you are currently uninsured, or have not had health insurance in the past 6 months, most insurance companies will eclude paying benefits on pre-eisting conditions and any medications associated with the treatment of that condition. So, applying for an Individuals policy may not be the answer to your situation. You may also wish to check with your parents to find out if you can qualify to be included on their Small Business policy. Many insurance companies will allow full-time college students that are under a certain age to be considered as an eligible dependent. Small Business plans often provide more comprehensive coverage and may not eclude treatment of your current condition and medications. This depends on the type of health insurance that is available to you through your parent's employer and applies primarily to HMO coverage.
